Dee earned her Bachelor of Music – Music Education in piano and voice from the University of North Texas, a leading university for training musicians and teachers. Her training included emphasis in theory, vocal technique and performance.

Dee has taught music for over 25 years as a private piano and voice teacher, school teacher, and private music class instructor. She has designed music programs for private pre-schools, elementary schools, and middle schools.

Certified and licensed in Musikgarten and Feierabend disciplines, Dee holds numerous memberships:
